Growing Locations
	Monrovia is headquartered in Azusa, California and also operates nurseries in Dayton, Oregon and Visalia, California. Several years ago, we grew to include three more locations in Cairo, Georgia, La Grange, North Carolina, and Springfield, Ohio. Azusa, California Monrovia was founded in 1926 in the City of Monrovia and a few years later moved a few miles east to Azusa, at the base of the San Gabriel Mountains. For decades, this 545-acre property was the primary growing location for tender plants that were shipped nationwide. In 2004, as the area developed and was less suited to agriculture, most of the property was sold. Our company headquarters remains, along with several acres of display gardens. Visalia, California Our newest state of the art facility, built in 1989, includes over 1,000 acres. It is situated in the heart of the San Joaquin Valley. Production focuses on plants best suited for the mid-west and Eastern U.S. Dayton, Oregon Our Oregon location, covering over 1,000 acres, truly captures the spirit of our Craftsman heritage. It is located in the Willamette Valley, approximately 1 hour southwest of Portland. Our Oregon nursery produces plants primarily for the Northern half of the U.S.
	Cairo, Georgia Our Southern heritage shines at our Cairo location. Founded in 1887, this location now covers over 1100 acres. Cairo is 35 miles due north of Tallahassee, Fla. and conveniently located to interstate 10 and 75. Product from this southern most location is shipped up the Eastern Seaboard and westward to Texas, Oklahoma and Missouri. La Grange, North Carolina Established in 1996, the 290 acre facility in eastern North Carolina currently has 100 acres in container stock for shipment primarily in the Eastern United States. Our newest nursery is growing rapidly and its plant availability includes a wide range of sizes and varieties suited especially for customers up the Eastern Seaboard. Springfield, Ohio The roots of our Ohio location go back to the beginning of the 20th century as a family owned operation. Over 300 acres of containers and field stock are conveniently located to several large Midwestern metropolitan cities. Plant production here is primarily for the Midwest including Chicago, Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, St. Louis, Kansas City, Detroit and Pittsburgh.
